Bihar Police Constable (Operator) Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. 02/2026)

Bihar Police is recruiting for 993 Constable (Operator) posts in the Bihar Police Telecommunication (Wireless) and Technical unclassified service, under Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Unclassified Service Rules, 2021. Candidates must be Indian citizens with Intermediate (Science) qualification including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Only Indian citizens can apply. Educational qualification: Intermediate (Science) (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST candidates). Height: 165cm (UR/BC male), 160cm (EBC male), 160cm (SC/ST male), 155cm (all female categories); chest measurement and minimum weight 48kg for women also specified. Transgender candidates follow same physical standards as women.

Three stages: (1) Written Examination of 100 marks/100 questions (2 hours) - 25 questions on General Knowledge/Current Affairs and 25 each on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at Intermediate level; minimum 30% marks required to qualify for PET; (2) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) comprising race, high jump and shot put - qualifying in nature, no marks awarded; (3) Document Verification of educational qualification, age and reservation claims.
