UPESSC Assistant Teacher Primary Urban & Associated Primary Recruitment 2026 (Advt. 05/2026)

Recruitment for 11508 Assistant Teacher posts in urban primary schools under UP Basic Education Council and 897 Assistant Teacher posts in aided associated primary schools (473 boys' schools, 424 girls' schools) under Secondary Education. Candidates are selected through a written examination followed by document verification.

Graduate degree from a recognized university with a recognized teaching qualification (B.T.C./D.El.Ed./B.Ed. as applicable) and must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by UP or Central Government for classes 1-5.

Written examination of 360 marks comprising 120 objective type multiple choice questions, 2 hours duration, +3 marks for correct answer and -1 for wrong/multiple answers; merit list prepared based on written exam marks, with graduation percentage and training qualification percentage as tie-breakers, followed by document verification.

Candidates must complete One Time Registration (OTR) and then apply online through the Commission's official website www.upessc.up.gov.in; application form must be filled in English; fee payment via credit/debit card or net banking.
