UP Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) 2026

UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 is a joint entrance examination for admission to various three-year diploma engineering/technology courses, two/three-year diploma courses (Agriculture Engineering, Fashion Designing, Home Science, Textile Design, etc.), Diploma in Pharmacy, Post Graduate Diploma courses, Hotel Management, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and lateral entry (2nd year) diploma courses offered at government, aided and private polytechnic institutions affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh.

Minimum qualification varies by course group: Group A (Engineering Diploma) requires 10th pass with minimum 35% marks; Group E (Pharmacy Diploma) requires Intermediate (10+2) with Physics and Chemistry compulsory plus Maths/Biology; Groups D, G, H, I require Intermediate/Graduate as specified; Group K (Lateral Entry) requires Intermediate Science or ITI pass with 10th.

Merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT); seat allotment done through counselling with reservation as per rules.
